The oldest medieval castle in Slovakia, which is built at the confluence of the rivers Váh and Kysuca, in the 2nd half of the 13th century. This castle showcases the history of Žilina and also provides an example of the interior design of that time. It also showcases a unique Slovak phenomenon called drotárstvo metalwork.
